Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi sabi which recognises beauty in simplicity, Yu Gin is made from just four botanicals: juniper, coriander, Sichuan pepper and yuzu. Yuzu offers fragrant citrus notes and the Sichuan a peppery zing, but juniper still shines through with its characteristic piny aroma. Intriguingly, its creators recommend garnishing a Yu Gin & Tonic with stalks of carrot and celery.
